Do You Think The Movie Aladdin Was Too Touchy Feely?
It involved a clever street kid, a stubborn princess wanting true love and a trickster genie.
By the second or third day Aladdin and Jasmine were ready to exchange vows, the genie and Aladdin were,erm,hugging by the second night and vice versa… Now,I don’t mind men or male characters sticking up for each other (a la Stand By Me) but come on!
I was waiting for the Jafar and the parrot to start making out…
Now Jasmine and her tiger and Aladdin and the monkey being close pals I can understand, but some of these characters just met…and well,what do you think?
I didn;t think so, but I did like the bit of fan service at the end with Jasmine in her skimpy outfit. Keep ‘em hooked
Well the first time I saw Aladdin I was about, hmm, 4.. I never thought about the fact they “hugged the second night.” And now that I realize it, I never thought about Jasmine’s skimpy outfit either.
It’s more old values have you ever read romeo and juliet which also show love at first sight etc etc.
