disney releases movies for a period of time and the puts them in the “vault” and don’t sell them for years that way when they re -release them the movies are in high demand…its a pretty evil business decision.
Isn’t it amazing how people think business is evil when all they are doing is practicing smart marketing.
Bub has it right. Some beer manufacturers have seasonal brands and blends I suppose they are evil also.
If a business floods the market with a product soon it becomes common and interest fades. Remember corporations are in business to make money and enhance shareholder value, not cater to crybabies
All Disney movies do this. They stop selling everything revolving around certain movie(s) for around two to three years, then the people who wanted the film before will be more likely to purchase it when it comes back because it might go away again.
Disney release “remastered” versions of the movie for a period of time, then puts them in the vault and then they stop selling, so more people buy them in the time they have it out.
They do this will all their movies, and in a few months or a year they will say for a limited time only you can get it on DVD and Blu ray.
They take it off the market for a while to renew interest and drive up the demand when it is rereleased. Peace.
