Any public figure, whether Prime Minister or Leader of Opposition, travel, visit any place in India he or she does so at its own risk & under his or her security cover provided to him/her by the Government of India.
Now any person from public if hurls a shoe or chappal on such VVIP is the between the person doing it & the VVIP, how does the Chief Minister of any State involved in this episode? More so the visit of the VVIP was for his/her political reasons & not on his/her official capacity. The Prime Minister was visiting Gujarat to boast up the Congress party, address the election rally when this episode happened.
Although such acts of hurling shoes on any person is very much deplorable by any imagination, however this is basically showing displeasure towards the person/his party etc on whom this is done, showing displeasure towards any public figure is right of any person of the public, but method of same should be through proper refined manner not hurling shoe at any such person.
The Chief Minister Narendra Modi, as an individual neither got this act to happen nor was in any manner involved in this whole episode,so why should he come forward apologizing for all this? The person who did this or person who were involved along with this person should only apologize for this shoe hurling on the Prime Minister.
Any how with this shoe hurling incidence on Prime Minister, the Congress lead UPA is leading with 4-1 against BJP lead NDA in getting shoe hurled on its leaders, will this show in the election result too?

  2. Why should anyone apologise for it? Just like any other politician MMS is also a simple politician ( its a different story that he has never contested any election, he contested one i think and lost it !!!! ) So what is the big deal if a shoe was hurled at him ? is he above everyone else? I dont think so. And NO MODI SHOULDNT APOLOGISE FOR IT.

  3. Why Narendra Modi will apologize ? Mr.Singh have did “Karseva” full five years for Soina Gandhi. He is in practise to do so one man take it wrongly. It was the only matter. He deserve it because he have did disrespect PM post.

  4. Certainly NOT.
These Congress guys are haunted by Modi. They are frustrated and are envious of Modi image and popularity. It sounds silly that some Congress guy is asking Modi’s apology for no mistake of his.

  5. Knowing very well the character of Veerappa Moily ,you should not give importance to his statement .btw who is he?

  6. Illogical demand by Illogical person. Let us not bother about Moily.

  7. DID CONG. APOLOGIZE TO THE PEOPLE OF MUMBAI WHEN BOMBS WERE HURLED AT THEM WITH CONG. GOVT. BOTH AT STATE AND CENTRE?
    CAN VIAGRA MOILY ANSWER THAT?

  8. Wait !He is going to blame Modi for UPAs defeat after results!

  9. Why and how is he responsible? Is something wrong with you?

    Big NO………………………….

  11. it would be too much if it is for missing the PM

  12. Ofcourse, not. Modi need never apologise for anything.
Congress has lost the plot. They think they are Gods and nobody should criticise them and they are above everyone. When a Shiv Sena Man called Manmohan “Na mard” Congress asked the Shiv Sena to apologise to Sikhs as if he had called all Sikhs that. They are trying to create problems between Hindus and Sikhs again. Manmohan is not a Sikh Guru who cannot be criticised. If he is in politics, he will be scrutinised by the public.

  13. i think not-protest from shoe is better than any knives, bullets, and bombs.we are living with hates here,it is bitter truth.even lot of indians like fundamentalist leader like advani n modi n togadia, no body could punish for killings thousand of peoples in gujarat n mumbai.
