What Is The Movie Where The Woman Is Repeatedly Raped By An Invisible Sex Offender, Maybe A Sex Demon Or Ghost?
It’s an older film, maybe early nineties to late seventies. The is raped in the shower, in bed, etc., and I think it was able to follow her outside of her own home… I have a feeling the title starts with an “e”.
The movie is “The Entity.” It came out in 1981, and the rapist is a ghost or demon.
It looks like there is a remake coming in 2010.
EDIT – for Ray: The only information I found on the remake is at the movieinsider.com link below, plus a Google search turns up a page on IMDB saying that the director will be Hideo Nakata. However, that IMDB search result goes to a paid section of their site, so I can’t dig up any more information – and not one iota about who’s going to be in it. The movieinsider link might be worth checking once in a while to see if any new info emerges. Hope that helps; I’m curious, too!

Any word on who’s gonna star in the remake? I’d like to see Monica Belluci. She did excellant work as an anal rape victim in “Irreversible”.
