Whoever Can Tell Me The Most About The Movie Aladdin Will Win The Points?

Animated feature about a street-smart young thief in the mythical city of Agrabah who meets and falls in love with the Sultan’s beautiful daughter, Jasmine, a liberated young lady who seeks to escape her present lifestyle. Help comes when the evil vizier, Jafar, plots to get a magic lamp for his own rise to power, and decides he needs Aladdin, a true “diamond in the rough,” to seek the lamp in the Cave of Wonders. Aladdin and his friend, the monkey Abu, gain the lamp and the wisecracking Genie inside for themselves. The Genie changes Aladdin into a prince so he can woo the princess, but the deception fails to impress Jasmine. As his true self, however, he uses his cunning and courage, with the help of the Genie, to defeat Jafar and his evil plans, in the end earning a princely title and the princess.
Computer-generated imagery enabled the filmmakers to create the amazing magic carpet ride through the Cave of Wonders, the intricately patterned carpet itself, and the stunning tiger head cave.
The idea of adapting the Aladdin story as a Disney animated musical was first proposed by Howard Ashman in 1988 when he and Alan Menken were still working on “The Little Mermaid.” He wrote an initial treatment and collaborated on six songs with Menken, including “Arabian Nights,” “Friend Like Me,” and “Prince Ali.” After Ashman’s death in 1991, Tim Rice came on board to write some additional songs, notably “One Jump Ahead” and “A Whole New World.” The art directors were influenced by Persian miniatures and Arabian calligraphy. Supervising animator Eric Goldberg, who created the Genie, was the first animator to work on the project. He was heavily influenced by the curved, fluid caricature style of artist Al Hirschfeld.
The film became the highest-grossing animated film up to that time, earning over $200 million internationally. The film also won Academy Awards® for Best Song (”A Whole New World”) and Best Original Score. The video release in 1993 also set records.
Directed by John Musker and Ron Clements. Starring: the voices of Scott Weinger (Aladdin), Robin Williams (Genie), Jonathan Freeman (Jafar), Linda Larkin (Jasmine speaking), Lea Salonga (Jasmine singing), and Gilbert Gottfried (Iago). 90 min. There were two made-for-video sequels: “The Return of Jafar” and “Aladdin and the King of Thieves.”

  1. It’s just this guy who lives a regular life until he sees the princess. Then she wanders off because she’s tired of being a princess and she runs into aladdin. So after he found out he’s the princess, he’s being captured because Jafar found out that he is the only one who can get the genie lamp from a cave that opens when he sends to pieces of a ring i think in the desert. Basically he does everything to be with the princess. It all depends on which movie you’re talking about.

  2. The movie Aladdin is a funny movie. I hope this is alot of words cause I only have one arm.

  3. Aladdin and Jasmine are scary skinny, Jafar’s evil, Iago the parrot’s histerical, the monkey’s a little weird, and the Gennie is alot wierd.
homeless boy falls in love with princess, swipes magic lamp for bad guy, keeps lamp, wins girl, bad guy angry, bad guy tries to kill homeless boy and princess, homeless boy vanquishes bad guy, frees gennie from lamp, and wins the girl.
There are several direct to video sequels. Return of Jafar isn’t bad.

  4. the movie Aladdin is set in Arabia. Aladdin is in love with the beautiful princess Jasmine. he has a monkey for a best friend and later finds a magic lamp. When he rubs the lamp a genie comes out and naturally says hell grant him 3 wishes. the main wish is that he wishes for the princess jasmine to fall in love with him. the genie says that he cant grant love wishes but he tries and fails. anyways Aladdin saves jasmine`s life and they get married and live happily ever after.(they have other adventures too.)

  5. IT STARTS OUT WITH A MERCHANT TRYING TO SELL YOU ITEMS. THEN IT GOES TO JAFAR AND IAGO TRYING TO ENTER THE CAVE OF WONDERS. THE GUY THEY TRY TO USE GETS CONSUMED BY THE CAVE.THEN IT GOES TO ALADDIN IN THE MARKET PLACE WIT ABOO ATTEMPING TO STEAL FOOD TO EAT. THE MOVIE GOES ON TO FIND JASMINE (THE UNHAPPY PRINCESS). ALADDIN AND JASMINE EVENTUALLY FALL IN LOVE AND ALLADIN DEFEATS JAFAR AND THE GENIE IS SET FREE. EVERYONE’S HAPPY THE END.
    *~*NOW GIMME MY 10 POINTS*~*

  6. If you mean Disneys Aladdin then I can tell you that he was drawn with no nipples. I think back in 1992 Disney used to have a policy about not drawing nipples to de-sexualise its characters but by 1999 they changed their minds and when they made Tarzan they gave him nipples.
Its not the most I can tell you about Aladdin but it is interesting dont you think?
